Overview
Raigad, the second capital of Hindavi Swarajya, was fortified by Hiroji Indulkar under the guidance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 1674 AD. Known as the Gibraltar of the East, Raigad stands at 4,400 ft above sea level in Mahad Taluka. It is renowned for its intricate engineering, architectural marvels, and historic significance.

The trek is of moderate difficulty and suitable for beginners as well as experienced trekkers. It involves a steady ascent with a few steep sections.
